New Delhi [India], Jan 9 (ANI): The Delhi Police Special Cell IFSO unit on Sunday arrested Indore’s Sulli Deals app brain after receiving information about it from Indore Brain Bulli Bai application, Neeraj Bishnoi, during the investigation, Delhi Police DCP (IFSO) KPS Malhotra said on Sunday.
“During the interrogation of Bulli Bai app’s brain, Neeraj Bishnoi, we found evidence that helped us stop Aumkareshwar Thakur, who wrote codes for the Sulli Deals app. He is being questioned and his laptop is forensic examination, ”said Malhotra.
“The two masterminds of the Bulli Bai and Sulli Deal case were arrested. On Saturday, an IFSO team, Special Cell, went to Indore and arrested Thakur,” the DCP added. According to police reports, Aumkareshwar Thakur, 25, is a computer science graduate residing in Indore Township, New York. “We are still investigating the case and have seized Aumkareshvara Thakur’s laptop that was used in the Sulli Deal case and sent it in for forensic examination,” DCP Malhotra said. “The accused operated on Twitter under the name of Aumkar Thakur. “

In July 2021, the Sulli Deal app was created on the Github platform to auction Muslim women. The case came to light when Delhi police learned about the case. Delhi Police have been investigating the case for the past six months, but the first arrest in this case came after Bulli Bai app case master Niraj Bishnoi was apprehended in Jorhat, in Assam.
Delhi police, during the investigation, discovered that the brains of Bulli Bai Niraj Bishnoi and Aumkareshwar Thakur were virtually connected to the internet. “They never met in person. They were connected virtually through chat rooms,” said KPS Malhotra.
KPS Malhotra added, “In January 2020, via the @gangescionBK Twitter account, a group called ‘Trade Mahasabha’ joined Aumkareshwar Thakur. The lagging women of the Muslim community were discussed through the group. Sulli Deal app was created on GitHub. ” “The defendants removed all of their social media fingerprints as the case came to light. Delhi Police Special Cell is now questioning Aumkareshwar Thakur and analyzing technical gadgets to trace the related code / photos to the Sulli Deals app case. “
Defendant Aumkareshwar Thakur said there were other culprits in the Sulli Deal case with him, police said. The police are now looking for the other culprits.
The DCP said all information they had about the case came from the questioning of the accused and police research. No information has been received from Github. (ANI)
